All immigrants are clients of the integration services, including refugees, those who have received a residence permit through the asylum process, those who have moved to Kuusamo through family reunification, and individuals receiving temporary protection with a local municipality designation.
Kieppi’s integration counselors provide hands-on assistance to help you adapt to your new life in a completely new environment. We assist with matters related to housing, children’s daycare and school, work and studies, as well as health services, not to mention leisure activities. In addition, we conduct initial assessments and create integration plans.
The integration services of the City of Kuusamo are guided by the Act on the Promotion of Immigrant Integration and the City of Kuusamo’s integration program.
The international services are open Mon-Fri at 8-16.
